Luca Di Terlizzi (Tivoli, 1998), graduated in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, in scenography. He began his exhibition activity in 2016 by participating in various group exhibitions and in 2019 he created We Are One, the first solo exhibition, curated by Riccardo Paris, at Casa Delle Culture e dell’arte in Tivoli. The following year he created ANJALI, a participatory performance, at the Anio Novus aqueduct in Tivoli (RM). In 2021 he founded in Rome, together with four other artists of his generation, CONDOTTO48, a 200 m2 artist-run space, located in Torre Angela, at the gates of the consular Via Casilina, to carry out solid artistic research in the area and create a hub of international exchange. In the same year he participated in the experimental exhibition project MATERIA NOVA, curated by Massimo Mininni, at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome.In 2022 he participates in the Bagni Misteriosi exhibition. Artist’s Cabins 2, curated by Giacomo Guidi, inspired by the cycle of works of the same name by Giorgio de Chirico.In 2023 he created the solo exhibition I TERRITORI DEL DIVINO curated by Graziano Menolascina at the abbey of Sant’Andrea in Flumine, in Ponzano Romano (RM) and is present in the collective exhibition curated by Lorenzo Madaro Riportando tutto a casa to the Archaeological Museum of the Roman ships of Nemi. In 2024 he was chosen among the winners of the mighetto foundation tender and participated in the collective Le tentazioni di Apollo at PRAC, Ponzano Romano (RM) Currently his artistic practice revolves around the search for contact with the ancient and the ancestral, investigating above all the persistence and atavistic importance of the celebratory aspects.
