Gammanzi (b.1995) is a Korean Seoul-based artist who paints caricatural childlike figures, captured in the traditional Korean mediums of ink and colla painting, showing a tender curiosity and wistful nostalgia towards the artist’s own family memories. Recent Solo Exhibitions in Seoul include ‘Indifferent Humans’ (Art 9 gallery, Seoul) and ‘Serendipity' (Gallery Aile Seoul) with further group shows ‘Oh! Sentimental’ (Gana) in Busan and art fairs in Tapei and Miami. Upcoming art fairs include Galleries Art Fair in Seoul and ART BUSAN, With a group show at “TO-GATHER” at Gallery Bellevie in Seoul from the 29th of April to the 19th of May 2023.
