Mariana Rodrigues (b. 1995), was born and resides in Osasco, São Paulo. She graduated in Digital Design from the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, dedicating herself to her artistic practice after graduation. Her pictorial practice is attached to the research of ancestral and corporal practices in which the body, the mind and the spirit are comprehended as one. This perspective follows all her research and materialise through shapes, colors and gestures that go beyond any rational comprehension. For her painting is a ritual, the result of many internal and spiritual processes.
