Andre Barion (b. 1996), was born in São Paulo. He graduated in Visual Arts at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). His research involves sculptural objects, vídeos, installations and paintings constructed from sewing mixed fabric textures and reviewing the relations between the object and the spectator, resulting in a type of theatricality in his installations. His interest in tapestry in the last few years has resulted in a direction where his art has an almost fetishistic approach, with a sense of desire and seduction in regard to the concreteness of the artistic object.
