Rikako Kawauchi

Born in 1990 in Tokyo. Graduated from the oil painting major at the Department of Painting, Tama Art University Graduate School in 2017. Currently based and active in Tokyo. Recent exhibitions include Group exhibition "Good Morning Japan" at Nassima landau foundation 2023, solo exhibition " Human closely" at the Lurf Museum in Tokyo Japan 2023, solo exhibition "line & colours" at N&A Art SITE in Tokyo. group exhibition "drawings" in 2019 (Gallery Koyanagi, Tokyo), solo exhibition "human wears human / bloom wears bloom" (Kamakura Gallery, Kanagawa) and ”Tiger Tiger, burning bright" (WAITINGROOM, Tokyo) in 2018 , Group Exhibition “Museum of Together” (SPIRAL, Tokyo), Solo Exhibition “NEWoMan ART wall Vol.7: Rikako KAWAUCHI” (NEWoMan ART wall, Display of JR Shinjuku Station Miraina Tower Ticket Gate, Tokyo) in 2017, "ART TAIPEI 2016 – WAITINGROOM Solo Booth" (Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei, Taiwan) in 2016.
In addition, the artist won the Kenjiro Hosaka Prize at the 1st CAF Prize Exhibition which she participated in 2014, and the ART EGG Prize at SHISEIDO ART EGG in 2015, gained attention for credible talent despite her young age.
